How We Review

Step 1: Check the Download Page

Every guide starts at the download page on this site. We check that the page still describes the same app, the same install steps, the same requirements, and the same file size that our guides describe. If the page changes, the guide changes with it. A guide that drifts from its source is rewritten, not patched with a guess.

Step 2: Test on Real Devices

We test the app on real hardware before it is listed: a Galaxy A55 running Android 15, a Pixel 8 running Android 16, a Redmi Note 13 Pro running Android 14, an Infinix Note 40 Pro running Android 14, and a Galaxy A13 running Android 12. The test walks install, search, episode order, playback, continue watching, watchlist import, and uninstall in order, on a phone and on a TV where the app supports it.

Step 3: Check the File

We compare the listed file size against the APK details table, scan the file before install, and read the permissions the app requests at install time. A file that does not match the table, or an app that asks for permissions a video player does not need, is not listed until the mismatch is explained.

Step 4: Recheck After Changes

When a new build appears, the home guide, the screenshots, and the download page are rechecked together. Shelves move between builds, so a guide that was right for one build is never assumed right for the next.
